Monkey World Dorset

If you ever get the opportunity to visit Monkey World - the ape rescue and rehabilitation centre on the South coast of England - I'd definitely recommend it, although probably not for the reasons you'd expect.

Most of the apes were quite camera-shy, and hid away in the trees and bushes. The kids were quite disappointed not to see much of the orangutans or the chimpanzees.

However the mano a mano Capuchin fight on the main stage was simply epic. We were riveted for about half an hour as they kicked, bit and body-slammed each other into the deck. It was hard to pick a winner.
