Most people said we were mad to go camping on the last weekend of October. They were probably right. But we did get to meet a few feathered critters at the farm we pitched up at in North Yorkshire. In fact, everytime we opened the door to the tent, they'd venture inside and start pecking crumbs off the groundsheet.

These photographs were my first test shots with the Sony A7R IV and the extraordinary Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM.
