Eidfjord

The first destination on my journey North to Årdalstangen was the beautiful village of Eidfjord, on the shore of its namesake estuary. I had hoped to get some drone photos of the adjacent Simadalsfjorden, which was shrouded with dramatic black cloud, but it was simply too windy to risk sending it up.

Instead, I parked up at the dock and snapped off a few pictures with my camera before jumping on the bike and heading to my next stop, the incredible Vøringfossen Waterfall, a short 20 minute blast down the road.
