The first stop-over on my motorcycle tour across Europe brought me to Lake Annecy in the Haute-Savoie region of France. I didn't stay for long, as I still had several hundred miles to cover, but waking up to this view was a great way to motivate myself for the ride ahead.

This photograph was taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and the extraordinary Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 II.
