Bondhus

I rose early in the morning to start my 6.5 hour ride from Bondhus to Årdalstangen, and was disappointed to see the weather hadn't changed from the night before. The pea-soup view over Hardangerfjord from the campsite didn't fill me with joy, but there was little point hanging around. I packed up the bike and left my jolly little red and yellow hobbit hut behind.

The first stop on my journey North was going to be the picturesque port town of Eidfjord, but first I had to park up and grab a photograph of Odda, its murky industrial vibe seeming so at odds with its beautiful surroundings.
