Blue Moon

In case you missed it somehow, we had a Blue Moon this week. Apparently, The name Blue Moon has nothing to do with the colour, rather the number of full moons in a season. According to NASA, we get them once every 2-3 years, so they're not actually as a rare as you might think.

This one coincided with my testing of the excellent Fujinon XF 90mm f2 R LM WR and Fujinon XF 50-140mm f2.8 WR OIS , both kindly on loan from Fujifilm. The photograph at the top of this page was taken with the Fujinon XF 90mm f/2, while the other two were taken with the Fujinon XF 50-140mm f/2.8.
