Whilst spending the week in the Greek capital of Athens, we decided to give ourselves a break from the bustling mainland and head to the neighbouring island of Aegina. Catching a ferry was fairly straight forward. We didn't have long to spend on the island, due to the tight sailing schedule, but we did find time to hire a couple of bicycles and ride the coast road up to Marathonas Beach, past the ancient olive groves.

These photographs were taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and the extraordinary Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 II.
