After clambering to the top of Ebenalp, I hiked down the Altenalp Türm until I arrived at Seealpsee, an idyllic turquoise lake nestled between the mountain peaks. The sun was going down by the time I arrived, which made for some pretty dramatic shots. I had the place to myself, except for a couple ploshing about in a rowing boat.

These photographs were taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and the extraordinary Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 II.
