Photograph of Loch Lomond by Alex Nichol

Loch Lomond

I've been to Loch Lomond several times; it's one of my favourite parts of Scotland. But I'd never been in the winter, only in the spring and summer, so we took the van for a wild camping weekend, pitching up at Firkin Point.

It was bitterly cold, but a windless night, so we were pretty cosy with the portable firepit and a bottle of Tennessee Fire. In the morning, I took some pictures of the lush winter colours. Gorgeous.
