Flåmsbana Railway
On day six of my motorcycle tour around Southern Norway, I took the day off to do the famous Flåmsbana Railway. The weather was miserable, but that didn't ruin the experience. If anything, cloudy skies just make Norway feel all the more dramatic.
The Railway journey is a round trip, which brings you back to Flåm after about an hour, where you can catch a bus to nearby Gudvangen, another small port at the other end of Gudvangatunnelen - the collossal 11 mile road tunnel through the mountain that divides the two villages.
From Gudvangen, I'd definitely recommend taking the Naeroyfjord Cruise back to Flåm, via some incredible scenery.
