Hmong children in traditional dress sit on the Dragon Steps at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a 630 year old Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai Provence, Thailand. There are 309 Dragon Steps in total, leading to the temple some 1,073m above sea level - not an easy ascent when it's 42°c in the shade.
