Chickens of North Yorkshire

Some old shots from the archives, of chickens we encountered while camping at Spiers House is North Yorkshire. These were taken on my very first 'proper' DSLR, the Canon 450D.

The light was just beautiful, and I managed to get some lovely shots from a distance, thanks to a 200mm telephoto lens and an APS-C crop sensor.

These photos were taken with the first edition of the incredible Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM , now in it's third generation.
